All rights Reserved © 2013 Heather McGrath Sunset in IcelandIn 2012 my boyfriend and I did a seven week tour of Europe. The final three weeks was in Iceland. Two of those weeks was living inside a Yaris touring the entire country. We went to Iceland at the end of October and left right before thanksgiving. The weeks we were there we saw hurricane winds for at least five days straight. After that it was blizzard after blizzard. The Icelandic people were just as surprised as we were. They were very resilliant tho. They had men standing on the corners of main intersections in Reyklavik helping everyone cross the street. The winds were so bad I got blown into moving traffic and just missed getting hit by a car. This country is filled with loving caring people who cherish the beauty that they have.

The Icelandic people said it was one of the best displays they had ever seen! It felt like a presence above you and that it was raining down on you. Its an experience everyone must have!
